Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a small piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be recharged by placing/hanging the solar module in direct sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves; this prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight. This also applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can illuminate for 6-8 hours with a charging time of 6-8 hours in direct sunlight. In summer, the sun shines more often and for longer, meaning the lantern absorbs more energy and burns longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ also illuminates on sunny winter days, although the burning time will be slightly shorter then.
