Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off at an angle. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper and long-lasting operation. The same applies to covered areas; sunlight will not reach the solar panel under these conditions. Under optimal conditions, with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, the LUMIZ can also light for 6-8 hours. After 5-6 hours of use, the light intensity may decrease. In summer, the sun shines more often and longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and thus stay lit longer than in other seasons. On sunny winter days, the LUMIZ will also light up, although the sun will be lower then and the lighting duration will be slightly shorter.
