Important notes for using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from getting stuck between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in direct sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves. This prevents the panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper operation. The same applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can burn for 6-8 hours with a charging time of 6-8 hours. In summer, the sun shines more often and for longer, causing the lantern to absorb more energy and burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ also lights up on sunny winter days, although the burning time will be slightly shorter.
