Important notes for using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module should be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be recharged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light is working by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you wish to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, ensure it is not directly under the tree's leaves. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for good and long-lasting operation. The same applies to covered areas; sunlight will not reach the solar panel under these conditions. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can also operate for 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. The light may decrease in intensity after 5-6 hours of use. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and for longer periods, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and thus burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light up on sunny winter days, although the sun will be lower and the burn time will be slightly shorter.
