Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off at an angle. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. When purchased, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light works by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves for sufficient sunlight. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ works 6-8 hours with a charging time of 6-8 hours. In summer, the lantern stays lit longer due to the greater amount of sunlight, but even on sunny winter days, the LUMIZ will light up, although the burning time will be slightly shorter.
