Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be pulled out vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery will not be fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be recharged by placing/hanging the solar module in direct sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under the leaves of the tree. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper and long-lasting operation. The same applies to awnings; here, the sunlight does not reach the solar panel. Under optimal conditions and in direct sunlight, the LUMIZ can also burn for 6-8 hours, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. The light intensity may decrease after 5-6 hours of burning. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and for longer periods, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and thus burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light up on sunny winter days, but the sun is lower then, so the burning time will be slightly shorter.
