Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a small piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in direct sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves. This prevents the solar panel from receiving sufficient sunlight for proper and prolonged operation. The same applies to covered areas; sunlight will not reach the solar panel under these conditions. Under optimal conditions, with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, the LUMIZ can also light for 6-8 hours, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. After 5-6 hours of use, the light intensity may decrease. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and therefore glow longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light on sunny winter days, although the sun is lower then and the burning time will be slightly shorter.
