Important notes on using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from getting stuck between the battery and the solar module. When purchased, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is used up, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light is on by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under the tree's leaves. This prevents the solar panel from receiving sufficient sunlight for proper and long-lasting operation. The same applies to covered places; sunlight will not reach the solar panel under these circumstances. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can also burn for 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. The light intensity may decrease after 5-6 hours of use. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and thus burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light up on sunny winter days, although the sun is lower then and the burn time will be slightly shorter.
