Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically, not torn off at an angle. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in direct sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves; this prevents the panel from receiving insufficient sunlight. This also applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ works 6-8 hours with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. In summer, the lantern will glow longer than in other seasons due to the more intense solar power.
