Important notes for using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module should be removed vertically, not torn off diagonally. This prevents a small piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be recharged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light comes on by placing your hand over the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under the leaves of the tree. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper and long-lasting operation. The same applies to covered areas; in these conditions, sunlight does not reach the solar panel. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can also burn for 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. The light intensity may decrease after 5-6 hours of use. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and for longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and thus burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light up on sunny winter days, although the sun will be lower then, and the burning time will be slightly shorter.
