Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically and not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. When purchased, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves for sufficient sunlight. This also applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ works 6-8 hours with a charging time of 6-8 hours in direct sunlight. In summer, the lantern will burn longer than in other seasons due to the greater amount of sunlight, although the LUMIZ will also work on sunny winter days.
