Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically and not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves; this prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight. This also applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ works 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. In summer, the lantern will burn longer due to the greater amount of sunlight. The LUMIZ will also burn on sunny winter days, although the burning time will be slightly shorter due to the lower sun position.
