Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module should be removed vertically and not torn off at an angle. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be recharged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper operation. The same applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can burn for 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and therefore burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also burn on sunny winter days, although the sun will be lower then and the burning time will be slightly shorter.
