Thanks to its solar-powered operation, you don't need an electrical outlet, allowing you to place the lantern anywhere. As evening falls, the LED lighting automatically switches on, projecting the beautiful Mandela pattern into an enchanting play of light and shadow on its surroundings. Its compact size makes it an ideal eye-catcher for a lounge table or along a garden path.
Quality and Materials
This lantern is made from high-quality Tyvek, a material known for its durability. It is not only weather-resistant and colorfast but also fully recyclable. The copper finish provides a timeless, luxurious look that remains beautiful for years, even in changing weather conditions. The internal solar module is designed for optimal energy efficiency, so you can enjoy atmospheric light every evening.
Why choose this product
With the Mandela Jar, you choose a sustainable and stylish way to illuminate your outdoor space. It combines oriental mystique with modern solar technology, resulting in a unique decorative piece that impresses both day and night. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking for low-maintenance ambient lighting with a warm, copper glow.
Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically and not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is depleted, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging the battery, you can test if the LED light turns on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under the leaves of the tree. This prevents the solar panel from receiving insufficient sunlight for proper and long-lasting operation. The same applies to covered areas; sunlight will not reach the solar panel under these conditions. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ can also operate for 6-8 hours in direct sunlight, with a charging time of 6-8 hours. The light may decrease in intensity after 5-6 hours of use. In summer, the sun shines more frequently and longer, allowing the lantern to absorb more energy and therefore burn longer than in other seasons. The LUMIZ will also light up on sunny winter days, although the sun will be lower then and the burning time will be slightly shorter.
