Please note when using Lumiz
The plastic tab of the solar module must be removed vertically and not torn off diagonally. This prevents a piece of plastic from remaining between the battery and the solar module. Upon purchase, the battery is not fully charged. Once this power is consumed, the battery must be charged by placing/hanging the solar module in sunlight. After charging, you can test whether the LED light comes on by placing your hand on the solar panel. If you want to hang the LUMIZ in a tree, make sure it is not directly under leaves; this prevents the panel from getting enough sunlight for proper operation. The same applies to covered areas. Under optimal conditions, the LUMIZ works for 6-8 hours with a charging time of 6-8 hours in direct sunlight. In summer, the lantern burns longer due to the greater amount of sunlight, but even on sunny winter days, the LUMIZ will burn, although the burning time will be slightly shorter.
